Antibody Purification

Antibodies Purification

We offer a variety of methods for antibody purification from serum, ascites, and culture supernatants. We use a variety of methods for purification of antibody from serum, ascites, and culture supernatants including (NH4)2SO4 salt precipitation, ion exchange and size exclusion chromatography, IMAC, GST, Protein A and Protein G affinity chromatography, and custom affinity chromatography.
The method employed is dictated by the species, the source material, and the level of immunoglobulin purity required. The amount of supernatant or serum required per column depends on the concentration and total milligrams of the solution..

Services We Offer :

Affinity purification permits isolation of antibodies against the immunizing antigen, thereby eliminating cross-reactivity that would be present in unpurified serum. Antibodies of extremely high purity and specificity can be obtained by using custom affinity chromatography.
Protein A, G, and A/G Purification
High yields of pure IgG can be obtained in a single-step purification using Protein A affinity chromatography, which differ in their ability to bind antibodies.
Ammonium Sulphate Precipitation
Because of their higher hydrophobicity, antibodies precipitate at lower concentrations of ammonium sulphate than most proteins and other serum components. Ammonium sulphate precipitation is then frequently used to enrich and concentrate antibodies from serum, ascitic fluid or cell culture supernatant.

Size Exclusion Chromatography
Dialysis membranes, size exclusion resins, and diafiltration devices that feature average molecular weight cut-offs can be used to separate immunoglobulins from small proteins and peptides.

Ion Exchange Chromatography
Ion exchange chromatography uses positively or negatively charged resins to bind proteins based on their net surface charge in a buffer with a given pH, according to their isoelectric point (pI)

Recombinant Protein Purification
Recombinant proteins or tagged proteins can be purified by affinity chromatography using charged or immobilized resins.

Our Capabilities :
We carry out various methods to purify
antibodies ranging from poorly to highly specific ones . The purification of antibodies using affinity chromatography, size exclusion, ion-exchange chromatography with dedicated matrix and purification columns.

Purification of antibodies is performed with
HPLC UV & Fluorescence detector, Biorad FPLC / HPLC System by using classical ionexchange liquid chromatography with Sepharose, GST , IMAC etc.
