    • Microbial Culture Room:This is an essential part of a successful cell culture project; in order to prevent contamination, a separate room or space should be set aside for it.

      Laminar Air Flow:  An enclosed workstation known as a laminar flow hood or cabinet is used to filter out all particles entering the cabinet and provide a contaminant-free workspace.

      BOD incubator:.The BOD incubator is used to provide the ideal temperature and conditions for the microorganisms to grow and consume oxygen.

      Incubator - Shaker:  The main purpose of incubating shakers in biotechnology and microbiology research is to cultivate and preserve cultures of microorganisms such as bacteria or fungi.

      Microscope:  are used to view protozoa, algae, fungi, and bacteria.

      Other Basic Lab Equipments:  Cell culture labs require separate equipment like Colony Counter, Colorimeter, Muffle Furnace, Hot Air Oven , Desiccators and Lypholizer,filtration assembly with vacuum pump, pH meter, pipettes and pipettors, centrifuges, shaker, autoclave, and water bath to avoid contamination.

      Bioinformatics: There are several great online tools and platforms for learning bioinformatics, depending on your level and interests like; IIT virtual Learning Platform,NCBI Bioinformatics Resources,Rosalind, EMBL-EBI, Galaxy Project, Bioconductor, You may learn drug designing by NPTEL online.(Renowned IIT Chennai experts make drug design very simple to understand through their instruction on the NPTEL platform.)

      Basic Lab Techniques: Basic calculation of chemical preparation (use graph pad or molarity dilution app), Pipetting,pH, sterlization etc is included in every course..

      Note: All basic experiments of qualitative and quantitative analysis of various types of products, basic microbiology, basic in vitro cell culture, and PCR-based experiments will be available on our YouTube channel from time to time.
